 ENGLAND, Jun 16 (VNN) — First successful live video broadcast worldwide on pure bhakti webcast from Birmingham, England - free 24 hour trial available!
For the pleasure of Sri Guru and Gauranga, Saturday, June 14th, on the auspicious day of Purnima, the Pure Bhakti Webcast team (http://webcast.purebhakti.com) successfully launched its new LIVE VIDEO service worldwide at the reception of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja by the Lord Mayor and Mayoress of Birmingham, England, the Counsel General of India for Birmingham, the head of the Hindu Council of the UK, along with other dignitaries, such as official representatives from the Muslim, Sikh, Mormon, and Anglican faiths as well as other Peace Movements.
Held at the newly renovated, high tech and media/graphic arts center CUSTARD FACTORY (www.custardfactory.com), birthplace of the delectable dessert custard over 100 years ago, all speakers spoke movingly on the topic of "Unity and Diversity", stressing God is Love and the Father of all living beings.
Reaction from groups of Vaisnavas assembled around the globe to view this historic event was immediate, thanks to MSN Messenger software (contact name: pbw@gaudiya.net): "fantastic", "enlivening", "amazing", "a whole new dimension", "an unqualified success", "I bow my head at this new service", "touching", "we all appreciated it so much".
For this reason, the Pure Bhakti Webcast team have decided to attempt LIVE VIDEO broadcast for the duration of the Hari Katha Festival here in Birmingham. Also we are looking into LIVE VIDEO broadcasts from the Malaga, Spain and Moscow, Russia Festivals coming up in the next two weeks, as well as Berlin Rathayatra after that.
And don't worry about being in an inconvenient time zone, or having other obligations such as work or school, and missing the action! During periods of LIVE classes which are generally broadcast between 5 PM and 8 PM local time, we will re-broadcast the proceedings continuously until the next LIVE class. This means that a subscriber can log in anytime in the 18 hour period after the original broadcast and see it then at his/her own convenience.
