Srila B.B. Tirtha Goswami Maharaj On Bhagavat Dharma In Germany

During his ongoing extensive Europe tour, Srila B B Tirtha Goswami Maharaj arrived in Germany on June 10, 2002 from Holland. On his way, he addressed a huge gathering in a monastery at Heeze, Netherlands.
On June 11, 2002, Maharaj visited the Afghan Hindu community at Cologne. He was given an arousing reception. He later visited the Sanatan Hari Om Mandir there. For the pleasure of the devotees, he delivered his discourse in Hindi language. He enlightened the audience about the significance and benefits of Bhagavat Dharma. He said that Supreme Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu preached Bhagavat Dharma - Shuddha Bhakti Dharma and taught the same by practicing it. Mahaprabhu instructed to practice five principal forms of devotion - association of sadhus, chanting of Holy Names, hearing Bhagavat, dwelling in Mathura and serving Deities with firm faith. Hearing of Bhagavat is one of the principal forms of devotion.
Continuing his tour, Maharaj departed for Switzerland on the June 14, 2002.
