Solution for Harikesh Getting His Money

USA (VNN) - by Sri Rama das (sri_rama@earthlink.net)

I read your article "Harikesa Threatens to Become "ISKCON's Worst Enemy". He wants "his money" or he will become the enemy of ISKCON.

There is a very simple solution for Harikesh which I'm sure all devotees will respect: Let Harikesh explain where and how he got "his money." Did it come from his family? Was it an inheritance or insurance benefit? Did Harikesa have a non-ISKCON business that we don't know about? Did he have another job? Just explain how "his money" is not ISKCON's money.

Of course, that leaves out any guru dakshin, donations for ISKCON, money given to him because of his position as an ISKCON leader, a guru, a BBT trustee; money given to him for his personal maintainence or whatever by persons who thought they would be pleasing Krishna or Srila Prabhupada by channeling money through Harikesa.

Devotees need to feel reassured before they release money to Harikesh. They naturally want to be certain they are not giving away Krishna's money.
