Invitation for the 4th European Vaishnava-Mela 1998, August 20 - 24

All glories to Sri Guru & Gauranga!

We, the aspiring servants of the Vaishnavas invite all of you to join the festival celebration of Vaishnava unity in diversity. In the presents of the founder of "Vrinda" and other Acaryas and Sannyasis, we will chant and dance to our heart's content. Srila Sridhara Maharaja told us: "Let everybody be happily accommodated in this family of Krsna-consciousness."

Seminars will be held on following topics:

* New ways to teach the philosophy of Sri Caitanya
(several speakers)

* The art of veneration and sacrifice (arcana & yajna)
(Srila B.K. Tirtha Maharaja)

* Leadership in the age of quarrel
(Srila B.A. Paramadvaiti Maharaja)

* Other courses, witch will depend on the final confirmation of
Srila B.V. Tripurari Maharaja and Srila B.G. Narasimha Maharaja

* Daily lectures, Kirtans, Dramas, Concerts

* Children's programs

* Also there will be programs for those who need to relax a little
bit from the tense world, in the company of old and new friends

Accommodation

Two boarding houses accommodate app.160 people.
Each of 16 bungalows accommodate 6 people.
Blankets and pillows are provided,
but sheets, pillow cases and blanket coverings must be brought with.

Meals

Two main lacto-vegetarian meals are served daily. Fruit will be served
for snacks. Please provide baby food yourselves.

Stiuated on the B 113 between the frontier crossing "Linken" and the
small town Löcknitz appr. 140km north of Berlin

Journey

-from Berlin proceed Highway A11 appr. 100km direction
Prenzlau/Stettin, to exit Penkun (exit Nr.4)

-Than travel north appr. 20km on B113 until you arrive an T-junction.
On theright side is the frontier crossing to Poland, named "Linken".

-on the T-junction turn left, going appr. 3km on B104 and you arrive
the the village "Bismark"

-150m behind Bismark you will find a sign on the right, to
"Jugendbegegnungsstätte am Kutzowsee"

-follow the dirt road for 1,5km till you see the camp

Public Transportation

(Rails)
-take the train to Pasewalk

- change to the train to Löcknitz

-from there you can take a taxi or if you inform us on time we can
come to pick you up

about your arrival

Terms of payment

Once again, no one should be inhibited financially. To relieve East
European families with children we beg your approval for this
distribution: * DM 40,- per day for single participants * Families
with children between 2 and 18 years pay for three persons, the rest
of children is free; children up to two years, who don't need an own
bed, are free * DM 20,- for devotees from East Europe per day

All prices include meals and lodging. Please pay on arrival for our
financial relief.
