EC Meeting with Harikesa

The Executive Committee of the GBC met with Harikesa Swami for two hours yesterday. He is presently staying in a recreational vehicle parked on the lawn of his therapist/healer who resides in a village about half-hour drive from ISKCON's community at Abentheuer.

Badrinarayana dasa, Ravindra Svarupa dasa and myself, (GBC Executive Committee members), accompanied by Hari Sauri dasa and Abhirama dasa participated in the exchange. The meeting took place during a walk in a nearby forest.

The discussions were frank, friendly, and informative. We learned and understood a great deal about his condition, mentality and intentions.

We are now assessing what we have learned, and we are still in the process of working with Harikesa Swami to formalize in writing his position in relation to ISKCON and his disciples.

In a few days we will be in a position to make a more complete announcement to ISKCON.
