The following is an insight into the latest style of acquiring books by Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada:

In Spain some sankirtan devotees claim that they distribute great amounts of books but keep them hidden in a householder's residence. After collecting a considerable amount of books over many days, a nightly appointment is made with Gaudiya Math devotees who love to distribute Srila Prabhupada’s books.

This must be done in great secrecy, as ISKCON authorities have declared Gaudiya Math devotees to be unworthy of having any of Srila Prabhupada’s books. What is their crime? They have accepted a spiritual master who is not under the control of ISKCON’s organization. Nevertheless, some more realized devotees in ISKCON regularly enact these nightly transactions to keep the book distribution alive. Samkirtan ki! jaya!
