Dear Nikhilananda prabhu, pamho. AgtSP.

Thanks for upgrading my position from "demon" to "madman" on your "VAST" com forum. This is very encouraging. At least you are giving us some credit, that you admit our problems are (at least in part) due to a reaction from GBC mistreatment. Our main problem with the GBC is that we have not agreed that conditioned souls and indeed deviants should be worshipped as good as Krishna.

Of course, this also brings to mind an illustrative story from the Krishna book. It seems that one unqualified person, named Romaharsana Suta, was sitting on a vyasasana and accepting worship, although he was not qualified to be seated there.

This seemed to be an "unknown offense" to most of the people present. At best, some people thought it was a minor offense (the participants of that assembly) but it was no minor offense to the Supreme Lord. He immediately became angry and killed that man for his artificial pretense. Now, it seems that according to our expert resident psychologists, like Nikhilananda, the Supreme Lord "highly overreacted" to the offense in question, and may have had some psychological problems from His past experiences? Not! Indeed Lord Balarama was not just making a few noises like us, He killed the false pretender!

Anyway, suppose that you had been me Nikhilananda prabhu? You were in my shoes? You discovered in 1978-80 that a very corrupt and sinful person was sitting in the seat of your pure devotee Vaikuntha guru, and a seat meant only for someone as pure as God Almighty? And this sinful man was having "who knows what kinds of illicit sex" with his female followers, and he was taking drugs, and he was calling LSD "Radharani's feet dust," and similar idiotic offenses, and when you protested that: you were thrown out of your Church by Ramesvara's, Jayapataka's and co's gang of four, with threats of beatings and death, orchestrated further by the militant vicious "preaching" of "saints" like Vipramukhya swami? Suppose you understood that you were lucky not to have been beaten or killed at the time?

Suppose that later, in 1984, you found Srila Prabhupada's letters and Ramesvara called up your friend up and said he'd be dead meat if he did not return these letters? And suppose your friend actually ended up being "dead meat" and the FBI thought you were the next "dead meat"? And suppose your wife and children suffered nervous breakdowns envisioning their father being shot with your "guru's" assassin's bullets in his head?

What kind of childhood does the GBC want Srila Prabhupada's family to have? Either the children are getting molested, or, if their parents protest, they will get the parents shot? I think that is how Kamsa treated the devotees, except he was honest, he never said he was the perfect Vishnu worshipping acharya?

And suppose that you went straight to the Berkeley temple when you discovered a molestation, and told Harivilas dasa NOT to touch your case? And suppose he interfered and told everyone that the molested child was lying? And suppose that you got harassed and criticized for trying to get justice?

And suppose that Harivilas allegedly lent money to the wife of the molester to bail him out, as he admitted to me that he in fact had? And suppose that after that Badrinarayana placed Harivilas in charge of the justices committee, overseeing molestations? What do you think? Would you be angry?
