EDITORIAL  Stop Animal Slaughter BY SATYAHIT DAS EDITORIAL, May 12 (VNN) — All glories to Srila Prabhupada AC Bhaktivedanta swami please acept my humble obeisances. Vaisnav, devotee's of the Lord all know that flesh eating is contrary to all religious scripture & is the root cause of war & disease as Srila Prabhupada explained to us ..Of the 4 regulated principles this is the one that breaking we may put a stop to our term as an aspiring devotee because by breaking the other principles we hurt ourselves but by meat eating we involve our selves in the killing of others. A devotee of the Lord wants to see all slaughter houses closed . Slaughter houses represent Kali & do naught but spread hell world wide in the form of stress, war, & diease of all sorts. As devotee's it is our duty to preach widely for the benefit of all humanity. This is why Srila Prabhupada & all incarnations of the Lord descend to this realm. Lord Chaitanya came to spread the sankirtan movement which has taught us in terms of diet, to be vegetarian & offer all foods to the Lord. This is spoken by Lord Krsna in Bagavad Gita & my main point here is that Lord Jesus also spoke on this principle in no uncertain terms in The Essene Gospel of Peace By His disciple John. This work takes one hour to read & was definetly spoken word for word by Lord Jesus in the Aramic language The dead sea scrol! ls were discovered in a cave in the 40ties. Now with the computer age we are able to disemanate knowledge massively through this world in all languages so it is our duty to humanity to do so through educating people. As Srila Prabhupada said, "you are fortunate so help others to be fortunate also ". I beleive that any sincere christian, catholic & or any one who looks up to Lord Jesus will take serious note of the Essene Gospel of Peace by His discple John. When i 1st read this booklette for one hour I cried because of feeling the most compasionate Presense of Lord Jesus. Lord Krsna said that "many many births we have all taken & only He can remember them all", so we have come from many religious backgrounds to meet Srila Prabhupada in this life time. Please help to make the Essene Gospel of Peace by His disciple John known to all sincere followers of Lord Jesus in order that they may know of the most dire consequences of meat eating ..Just as we did not know so they do not know. I pray this message not fall upon deaf ears ..
