About the Author:
My Mata, Jagadatri, brought me to New Dwarka, LA, in 1972 where I first met Prabhupada before returning to the Dallas Guru-kula. Though I visited other temples like, New Vrindavan, I pretty much remained in Dallas until its closing in 76, where upon I went to Vrindavan India. I was initiated by Prabhupada later that same year. Every other summer, I would return to America for short stays, visiting most every temple in the US, Canada and Europe over the next 10 year with 5 of them spent in India. I had also been shuttled to most every guru-kula in ISKCON by this time. I had rarely taken any written test in Vrindavan for I could not spell my own (legal) name or read by 18 - when I left guru-kula. I've learned those on my own as I have Kirtan and the philosophy. It is therefore with great pleasure I write this today as an "author" on VNN's distinguished list of such luminaries as Tripurari Swami - one of my favorites.

I stayed on for another 6 years in ISKCON trying my hand at the guru-kula in France, a travel and book project, "Vaisnava India" with Guru-Krsna, Congregational Programs with my Mata in LA and a world travelling sankirtan party with Niscintya. This concluded with starting a temple on the Big Island but instead bought the house with my Mata. I buckled down to starting the guru-kula ISKCON Youth Veterans newsletter and reunions, before getting involved with a business two years later. Humbled by business, family and in my social standing, I was left once more to my thoughts and so here today as a part time writer and student at Santa Monica College - political science major with economics this semesters classes. My life's primary purpose is to establish Bhakta ROOPA as the economic system for the world while meeting the day to day demands my seemingly greatest challenge.
